- Implement individualized and group occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to help students meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Manage a full-time caseload across two school locations within Norwalk, maintaining accurate documentation of student progress, provided services, and ensuring consistent scheduling and service delivery at each site.
- Assist students in developing and improving fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills necessary for participation and independence in the school environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the supervising OTR/L regarding student performance and needs.
- Valid Connecticut Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License (Required)
- Must have successfully passed the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination
- Prior experience providing therapy services to children and adolescents (Preferred)
- Top Compensation: Earn $34.10 - $40.30 Per Hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
