      The Tanager School Based Program currently works with nine area school districts to make evidence-based treatment available to students struggling with mental and behavioral challenges outside of the home. Services are conveniently offered at school eliminating the need for caregivers to arrange transportation.

      • Tanager supports your professional growth. Our full-time therapists receive an annual training allotment for use towards continuing education, professional development, therapeutic supplies and more.

      • We provide an already established client base, no need for you to recruit families.
      • Tanager provides services for both private and public insurance programs.

      Job Details

      As a School Based Therapist, you'll work alongside school supports to provide initial assessments, create treatment plans and introduce clients to our services. By providing therapy to a caseload of clients, as well as engaging with school supports, students and families, you'll be increasing resilience and overall wellness for all students, families and educators.

      Qualifications


      Qualified Candidates

      • Current Iowa License
      • Masters-level licensed therapist: LMSW, LISW, LMHC-t, LMHC, LMFT-t, LMFT.
