- Schedule is flexible to be determined by school and athletics programming and may include evening and weekend hours
- Schedule to be posted at least two weeks in advance
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent;
Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class C and Endorsement S;
Have knowledge of the traffic laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania;
Have the skills necessary to operate a motor vehicle safely:
Preferably possess experience working with students in schools.
Must be able to obtain or currently have all background clearances required by Pennsylvania to work in schools with students (Federal, PA State, & Child Abuse.)
Provide student transportation to/from athletic events, including games and practices and activities.
Provide student transitions to/from field trips during the school day.
Provide support to the Director of Athletics in performing maintenance of bus and athletic fields and equipment.
Establish and maintain a warm and friendly environment.
Supervise and/or assist in the supervision of students' behavior while on the bus.
Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections and escalate any issues to the supervisor.
Clean and maintain vehicles.
Assist with purchasing and delivering supplies as needed by the Athletics and Activities department.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
Reports To: Director of Athletics and Activities
Com mitment:Term: 10 Months Annually, September - June
Compensation: Starting salary $20 per hour based on experience
ABOUT THE POSITIONAt New Foundations, a Bus Driver’s primary role is to support students and staff across either the High School or K-8 campus by providing transportation for school day and after-school activity and athletics. Bus Drivers are committed to safety, customer service and have genuine, caring attitudes for children.
