      Now Hiring Part-Time School Bus Drivers in Stonington, CT

      As a First Student Part-Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You’ll be there at the start of their day with before-school pickup, and again in the afternoon to bring them safely home.

      No experience required — we’re proud to train you using our industry-leading tools and technology.

      Your day will include:

      • A split shift with morning pickup and afternoon drop-off

      • A typical range of 4 to 6 hours per school day*

      • Opportunities for extra hours through trips and charters

      School Bus Driver benefits:

      • $24.50/hour starting wage – top scale up to $29.90/hour

      • Have strong verbal communication skills

      • Are at least 21 years old

      • Have held a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years

      • Can pass a DOT physical and drug screen
