    • Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
    • Ensures the development of a backup and recovery scheme for all systems that they oversee
    • Defines and monitors multiple projects.
    • Provides technical and administrative supervision
    • Assist District staff by researching and defining project parameters. Performs analysis of current and potential systems, recommending modifications.
    • Identifies staff development and training needs and submits requests for training when needed.
    • Ensures documentation is developed and maintained.
    • Recommends policies related to supported equipment and software
    • Works with IT Management and/or Purchasing Department and outside vendors to obtain the appropriate hardware, software, and services.
    • Supervises the performance of daily operations including but not limited to system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all systems, server resources, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
    • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
    • Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router/switch administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
    • Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
    • Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendors.
    • Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
    • Extensive knowledge of network performance, local area and wireless networks, network design and implementation, and problem solving
    • Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and industry-leading hypervisors

    • Information Technology Infrastructure Supervisor

      Salary: $72,468-$88,566, DOE (for 260 day contract)

      Class Summary:
      The IT Infrastructure Supervisor will be responsible for managing the personnel and resources for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of IT-infrastructure hardware and software. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and students. The IT Infrastructure Supervisor assists project teams with technical issues including the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. They are responsible for managing the personnel and resources to maintain the District’s WAN (Wide Area Network), LAN’s (Local Area Networks), and associated equipment. Manage the installation, maintenance, repair and security of equipment including but not limited to servers, network equipment and associated network software. Ensures appropriate technical documentation for district personnel is written and distributed for associated network servers, hardware and software. Ensures all servers, hardware and software are administered and maintained on a regular basis. Maintains a preventative maintenance program and replacement plan for servers, hardware and software. Administers/oversees all associated services to ensure that the services are provided in the most effective and efficient manner in support of the district.

      Required Qualifications:
