- High school diploma or GED.
- Prep, prepare and cook food items; ability to follow recipes and measure as needed.
- Participate in daily operation of the cafeteria, including but not limited to, washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping.
- Able to follow instructions from the school food service manager and the Director of Food Service.
- Flexibility to switch between and perform various cafeteria tasks.
- Ability to lift 35-50 pounds; ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time.
- Must adhere to established protocols associated with: food safety, storage and sanitation procedures.
- Reliable (open availability).
Position Summary:
The King William County Food Service Department is currently seeking individuals to serve as substitute personnel as needed. To execute the job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential task as directed. Shifts vary from 4-7 hours, as needed, between the hours of 7:00 s.m. and 2:00 p.m.
