    • Manages the student information system (PANDA) and reporting of student data for local, state and federal requirements. Corrects Student Record and FTE information for their district at school level.

    • Provides services by entering and verifying data and obtaining management reports.

    • Prepares customized reports for system and school needs.

    • Maintains accurate and up-to-date data in the student information system according to state and local criteria; ie. Grade reports, class schedules, student schedules, and staff/student information.

    • Attends conferences/trainings to develop and maintain knowledge of their student information system.

    • Demonstrates initiative and assumes responsibility for all aspects of job; performs routine duties and tasks with little or no direct supervision.

    • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and material.

    • General knowledge of computers, computer commands, peripherals, and various operating systems.

    • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.

    • Knowledge of FTE Reporting guidelines; attendance regulations; testing and student assessment information.

    • Assists in the registration and withdrawal process of students.

    • FTE Data Importer: Runs verification reports, corrects data

    • Conducts student information system data training for teachers; ie, setting up gradebook, entering assignments, posting grades, roster verifications.

    • Collects, organizes and files paperwork submitted to the principal, as needed: survey checklist, notices

    • Assists with data collections and entry for CCRPI, FTE, student record, etc.

    • Enters and maintains employee information in the student information system.

    • Considerable knowledge of data management, policies and procedures.

    • Ability to exercise independent judgment in correcting data errors or omissions.

    • Ability to communicate with school personnel, parents, students, and central office staff while complying with the confidentiality requirements in local, state, and federal policies. (Oral and written communication skills)

    • Ability to work with student schedules on a short timeline.

    • Creates and prints data and reports as related to duties and responsibilities: attendance, grade, discipline, counseling and scheduling reports as needed; ie. Prints, exports and imports grades to verify completion, report cards, progress reports and transcripts for teachers, parents and/or students, monthly enrollment reports for the school nurse.

    • Selects data from varied sources, and summarizes and analyzes information for standard reports to school level administrators.

    • Assists with the development, implementation and revision of reports, forms, materials and procedures as related to job responsibilities.

    • Establishes procedures and timelines for inputting data, scheduling, reporting end-of year maintenance, calendar functions, system backups and other activities as needed.

    • Completes and submits payroll information for all staff members each month to the Central Office.

    • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

    • Ability to be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

      Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Support Personnel Certification with GaPSC.

      Proficiency Skills: Written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, ability to operate office machinery and deal with multiple tasks, computer competence, typing and proofreading skills, word processing, database, and spreadsheets.

      Experience: 2 years of progressively responsible office clerical experience.

      GOAL: This position oversees the computerized student information system and works closely with each school staff and school administrative team to ensure that student data is imported properly. This position performs a variety of technical and computer support functions to ensure accurate data reporting in payroll and the student information system.
