What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Instruct individuals and groups in the subject area
- Provide specially designed instruction for eligible special education students
- Plan curriculum and lessons
- Evaluate and monitor student progress based on performance and observation
- Maintain contact with parents and professionals regarding student progress
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in education
- Experience teaching students in an online environment
- Physics certification required; PDE Earth and Space Science 7-12 teaching certification preferred; Special Education Certification preferred
- Technology experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as an online instructor in secondary science
