Holds a valid State of Georgia Teaching Certificate.
Meets all certification requirements including teaching area endorsements in the State of Georgia.
Deliver state and local curriculum to prepare students for success in higher education and careers, aligning instructional practices to optimize learning outcomes.
Assess student achievement to inform instructional decisions and create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment using classroom, district and state assessments.
Represent the school system positively in public relations and collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community agencies.
Exhibit professionalism, adhere to professional ethics, and fulfill responsibilities including providing relevant learning experiences and maintaining a respectful environment.
Engage students in active learning using research-based methods, support individual learning differences, and utilize diverse assessment strategies to measure progress accurately.
Analyze data to inform instructional content and provide timely feedback to students and parents, fostering student-centered and self-directed learning behaviors.
Uphold professional standards, contribute to professional growth, and support the school's mission through effective communication and collaboration through professional development practices.

Working Environment:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:
Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally, the job requires 65% walking/standing, 25% sitting and 10% lifting/carrying.
