Bio-Techne is a leading supplier of research products and instruments and the perfect place for you to discover the life science work environment. During your 8-12 week summer internship you will get a first-hand experience of what a career in industry involves, from laboratory work to scientific writing, data mining, and technical support, you will be able to explore and find what may be right for you and your career in the future.
Position Summary:
The position will be within our scientific support team of scientists, multi-lingual technical experts, assisting Bio-Techne customers to successfully achieve their research goals using our instruments and reagents.

Connect across boundariesDuring your internship you will be a scientific support team member, working with experienced scientists on assigned projects that have an impact on life science research and advancement. You will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and have the opportunity to learn about applied life-science research as well as develop core business skills, including prioritising work, structure daily tasks and assignments, communication, and presentation skills.
Qualifications
We are looking for a summer student from a scientific degree with a strong passion for science, technology, and innovation and with the following personal qualities and attributes:
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Open minded, positive can-do attitude and ready to explore science in a commercial setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in experiencing a wide variety of tasks
• Ready to experience working in a fast-paced customer facing environmentProgram Requirements:
• Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the internship
