Scientist

For a CRO (Frontage Laboratories, Inc. - Exton, PA): perform literature and patent search to support studies for development of drug products and generate data/development reports for use by clients as part of their regulatory submissions and patent filings; plan, perform and oversee various stages of product development, including pre-formulation, formulation development, process development, optimization, scale-up studies/technology transfer; incorporate Quality-by-Design tools in drug development; develop prototype formula and evaluate the predetermined Quality Target Product Profiles (QTPPs) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs) and continue to improve the formula to reach the development goal; perform assigned tasks on schedule according to standard operating procedure and supervisor instructions; facilitate transfer of knowledge and deliverables of drug products to clients.

Requirements:

1. Master of Science or foreign equivalent degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Science or a related field.

2. Proficiency in performing pharmaceutical development activities including stability testing and evaluating working and reference standards for pharmacopeial and non-pharmacopeial products, Chromatography, High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Empower, Assay and Content Uniformity.

Work Location: Exton, PA.

Hours: 40 per week - Monday through Friday.
