  This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in the fast-paced and highly successful Mondelez Europe Chocolate Research & Development team, helping manage and build specifications for our complex portfolio of products.

  How you will contribute

  The role is within the Seasonal Product Development team. We are responsible for delivering innovation, brand maintenance, productivity and quality improvement projects and require a Specification Specialist to assist with our agenda. With Specifications being central to our role and key to our success this is a role of high importance within the team.

  The purpose of this role is to lead and manage various types of specification led projects as well as being the specification go-to person for the team and outside of the team on behalf of the team.

  More specifically:

  • Manage specification led Seasonal projects for both internally and externally manufactured products: create and track specifications through system, working with regulatory, food safety and packaging teams to finalise and move specifications to current status in line with production dates
  • Drive for results and chase deadlines when needed, manage multiple tracks of work with challenging and dynamic timelines
  • Work closely with product developers on projects & specifications where some product development/recipe development knowledge is required
  • Keep up to date with changes and updates in specification management (tool and ways of working), communicate to the team and give support on specification topics
  • Lead clean-up agendas within product clusters
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy during specification creation within the team
  • Train new starters within the team on the specification system

  • If the workload goes over the capacity of this role, the person will be responsible to organize, prioritize and allocate the work to other team members, keeping track of progress and completion

  What you will bring

  A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

  • R&D or Quality experience with degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Proficiency with data management; experience with specification systems is preferred
  • Experience in managing and organizing own project work, prioritization and time-management
  • Good communication skills
  • Track record of working independently and in a team

  The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.
