      Note: Roles are posted at the lowest level of a band, however, employees should search across all levels of the band to identify all opportunities. Employees hired on banded positions (ex: P1-P3, R1-R2, B1-B3, etc.) transfer at their current level, despite the level indicated on the job posting. For example, if a P2 candidate is selected for a P1-P3 banded position, the candidate will remain a P2 in the new role.

      Responsibilities

      Lead the site contamination control strategy and environmental monitoring programs. Provide technical support to the cleaning processes in all manufacturing areas, including understanding of the technical aspects of the cleaning processes, execution and monitoring of cleaning activities. Evaluate preventive/corrective actions applying scientific expertise on equipment, facilities, computer systems and manufacturing operations. Responsible for technical documentation of the contamination control strategy, environmental monitoring, and cleaning program with active participation in continuous improvement initiatives, lead risk assessments, change control implementations and investigations with effective corrective/preventive actions.

      Basic Qualifications

      Bachelor's or Master's or PhD in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering or Microbiology or related science field is required. Degree in Microbiology is preferred.

      • Minimum of one (1) years of experience in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
      • Experience with dry products manufacturing is preferred.

      Additional Preferences

      Three years of experience in Environmental Monitoring Program, Contamination Control Strategy and Cleaning Validation program is preferred.
