- Be the primary collaborator and advisor to the General Manager of the B2B Scores division and provide auto industry insight and advice to the FICO® Scores Leadership Team.
- Define, lead and execute the strategic plan to protect and grow market share of the FICO® Score and associated products for the Auto Industry.
- Define and oversee key auto industry related projects across the organization.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop long-term/multi-year auto industry ecosystem growth strategy. Empower consumers through financial inclusion that improves financial wellness.
- Directly and actively engage client leadership and key stake holders at Auto Lenders, Auto Dealers, and Auto Solution Providers. Proactively work with customer executives to understand their most pressing business issues and successfully position FICO® Scores for broad use in the industry. Source new use cases and product concepts to continue driving the adoption of FICO scores in the auto industry.
- Cultivate and maintain effective working and trusted advisor relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders supporting the auto industry, including executives, operational managers, strategic project managers, vendor sourcing, and senior staff members. Ensure smooth communication and coordination, upstream and downstream, between multiple departments involved or impacted by key initiatives.
- Partner with clients and influencers within the auto industry ecosystem to ensure the products and strategies we create at FICO meet the needs of the auto industry participants, and that they are ready to operate with and support the latest FICO® Score products.
- Communicate relevant information effectively to diverse audiences and translate subject matter terminology into business terms, recommend alternatives to our target partners/clients, our internal senior management and project/product managers across the organization.
- Work with internal teams from solution conceptualization to the initial prospect/proposal phase to successful closure, including contract review.
- Improve efficiency through action. Develop scalable standard and deal-specific competitive pricing analysis; conduct comprehensive solutions overview to determine cost-to-value for the client. Prepare strategic plans and business cases, including executive presentations, designed to streamline operations.
- Resolve client/solution contractual issues and blocks to sales process by proactively levering client relationships.
- Review client deliverables or consulting assignment documentation, such as executive presentations, analysis results, training materials, and system specifications, and ensure the results are accurately represented.
- Develop a detailed industry segmentation and market strategy that targets by client and product/solution to drive effective GTM activity and marketing planning that increases speed to market and improves brand awareness.
- Support creation of thought leadership white papers, executive briefings and industry symposium presentations and perform reviews of marketing materials and promotional materials for industry relevance.
- Provide executive interaction support or speak at industry trade shows, conferences and seminars.
- Degree in Business Administration or similar field; master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated executive leadership experience.
- Substantial and relevant industry experience delivering solutions to the following markets: auto loan financing, auto dealers, data resellers and auto solution providers (such as Dealertrack, RouteOne and CUDL). FICO Score and lending product knowledge is a plus.
- Experience partnering, advising at the C-suite or executive level, and having a series of trusted advisor relationships with auto loan financing, auto dealer, and auto solution provider industries.
- Related knowledge and experience in auto lending, core risk management, new business development, product/service management, strategy development, strategic partner management, and business process re-engineering are considered beneficial.
- Understanding of auto loan securitization and asset-back securities/ secondary investment market is helpful.
- Ability to effectively listen to clients, understand their business needs and challenges and translate these into effective insights.
- Excellent customer service, organizational and follow-up skills, and the ability to successfully manage an action plan.
- Attention to detail with sound reasoning and problem-solving skills and logical thinking while also having the ability to see the big picture.
- Experience working successfully in a global, highly matrixed business environment.

- The targeted base pay range for this role is: $168,000 to $264,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
