      A Brief Overview
      The scoring clerk is responsible for calculation of total raw scores when provided with item level scoring, conversion of raw scores into standardized scores using test manuals, other reference sources or scoring programs and entry of standardized scores into computer databases or report templates. In their work the scoring clerk must be detail-oriented, with a focus on absolute accuracy in basic calculations and data entry, as well as in transcribing data from computerized score reports into other databases or templates.

      What you will do

      • At the direction and under the supervision of a psychometrist, functions relatively autonomously in calculating total raw scores from item-level scored responses.
      • Responsible for conversion of raw scores into standard scores through entry in computer programs or through use of scoring manuals/reference sources.
      • Responsible for transcription of standardized scores from computer printouts or handwritten protocols into databases or report templates.
      • Responsible for the accurate entry of data across protocols, scoring forms, databases, and report templates.

      Education Qualifications

      • High School Diploma / GED Required
      • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

      Experience Qualifications

      • Experience with data entry and basic computer programs Preferred

      Skills and Abilities

      • Quick and accurate typing skills, with touch-typing of numbers preferred.
