Job Description

- Examine work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities.
- Design screen patterns according to customer specifications.
- Select appropriate screen size, degreasing agents, and emulsion coatings.
- Load screens into the printing press, both manual and auto.
- Mix inks in order to color match PMS / Pantone Colors.
- Install and reposition screen to ensure proper registration of images.
- Run prints and perform quality checks throughout the printing process.
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Dry, fold and pack completed articles.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and handling products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate effective productivity.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous work experience as a screen printer preferred.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- High level of creative and artistic skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to work with ink and chemicals every day.
- Ability to manually operate large machinery in a light industrial environment.
- Ability to work Independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work nights if required.
- Other duties as assigned.

We are looking to add a screen printer to our team in Guilderland Center, NY!
The screen printer role is responsible for the creation of well-designed PPE equipment articles that fully meet the customer's logo specifications by prepping and printing via manual and automatic machines. To ensure success as a screen printer, you should exhibit advanced artistic skills, have the ability to stand for long hours, be comfortable with manual labor in a light industrial environment, and have excellent hand-eye coordination.
