Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Scrum Master. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position will require relocation and or travel to project location.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
Experience as Scrum Master Facilitating ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand up, demos and retrospective).
Enabling and challenging team members regarding self-organization & commitments.
Resolving impediments & engaging others if external blockers.
Provided effective leadership and familiarity in Scaled Agile framework and Program increment planning.
Mentoring other members on Agile principles and scrum practices.
Proficiency in story writing and multiple prioritization techniques.
Work with stakeholders on Release Planning, Product Roadmap and prioritization.
Proficient in JIRA Agile Story Management tool.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master or SAFe Agilist.
Strong communication and Analytical skills.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.EEO/About Us
