      Overview

      The Scrum Master will deliver effective project and Agile management services across multiple technology-driven business initiatives. The role requires providing structured Agile guidance, facilitating Scrum processes, managing resources, and ensuring transparent reporting and communication. This individual will drive the identification, validation, prioritization, and execution of technical initiatives focused on efficiency, effectiveness, scalability, and leveraging technology, processes, and resources.

      This role can be hybrid out of our Coral Gables, FL or Agoura Hills, CA locations or remote anywhere in the country. The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000, plus an annual bonus. However Lakeview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the roles and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, location and key skills.


      Responsibilities

      • Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
      • Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements, define user stories, and establish clear acceptance criteria.
      • Assess and evaluate operational and technological benefits, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and clearly communicating value to business and technical stakeholders.
      • Implement and continuously improve Agile frameworks and best practices (Scrum, Kanban) within teams and across the organization.
      • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption.
      • Foster trust-based relationships across technical and business units, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
      • Track and manage project resources, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery within scope, quality, and budget constraints.
      • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and status reporting, to provide real-time updates and transparency.
      • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring expectations and requirements are clearly understood and effectively executed.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree
      • Formal training or certification in Project Management (PMP) or Agile methodologies preferred.
      • Minimum 5-7 years as a Project Manager or Scrum Master
      • Extensive experience managing enterprise-wide technology-driven initiatives, including Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid methodologies.
      • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices, Scrum frameworks, and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
      • Familiarity with BPM, Waterfall, Agile, and Lean methodologies; Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe ) highly desirable.
      • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
      • Experience within financial services, particularly mortgage servicing/origination, is preferred.
      • Ability to effectively liaise between technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management, facilitating seamless alignment and project transparency.
      • Skilled in identifying and managing dependencies and risks within technical projects.
      • Proven ability to operate effectively within both technology and business environments, fostering collaboration and shared understanding.
