  Job Description

  Are you ready for a sneak-peek in the day of a Professional Scrum Master in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

  In order to be successful at your role as a Professional Scrum Master, it’s important to have strong coaching, persuasive, creative, analytic and leadership skills as well as strong communication skills. You must be experienced in coaching a team, consisting of several stakeholders and participants, belonging to different departments. Although we want to implement Agile inside of our organisation, we do not totally reject the Waterfall approach. Our way of working is hybrid which means the initiation of the project is waterfall with some inspiration on Kanban. The Execution is Agile (Scrum). Our projects are about infrastructure and E-mail management. Knowledge in that area is an asset.

  As a Professional Scrum Master you will:

  • Making sure that the team cuts the Epics and the Features into the small user stories and tasks (very essential);
  • Applying the Scrum Framework;
  • Coaching the team to do testing and detecting the best Agile testing practices;
  • Developing People and Teams to become Self-Managing and Agile minded;
  • Coaching and Monitoring of the Team to deliver the potentially shippable products which are DONE;
  • Defining the minimum viable products;
  • Managing Products with agility;
  • Product Back log Management (Using Jira. But other tools can be recommended);
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery;
  • Sprint planning and applying relative estimations techniques which can and must be translated into man days for project and program purposes and reporting;
  • Organising Retrospectives;
  • Organising Sprint Demo;
  • Optimizing Flow and creation of cadence;
  • Continuous Quality Improvement;
  • Managing technical risks;
  • Reporting to the Project managers and the Program manager;
  • Excellent relationship with the Business Manager;
  • Helps the PM to implement the methodology for the End-to-End projects.

  Qualifications

  What would make you a fit for the role:

  • You are born coach and leader;
  • You have at least APS certification or atleast Leading SAFe certification;
  • You understand the difference between complicated and complexity;
  • You have atleast 5 years of work experience in a similar job;
  • Excellent spoken and written knowledge of English (min.C1);
  • Strong analytical and synthetic knowledge;
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills;
  • You are solutions oriented mind and are a Team player;
  • You are able to quickly assimilate procedures;
  • You are able to work well under pressure;
  • You are comfortable in international and multicultural working environment;
  • You are an Agile Expert who also appreciates the benefits of the Waterfall approach.

  It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

  • French knowledge is an asset;
  • Experience with European Institutions is an asset;
  • Engineering or computer science background;
  • Helping the PM and the business analyst to deliver the business and functional analysis either using Kanban or using sprint;
  • Knowledge in IT-infrastructure.
  • Having the PSM or even PSM II certifications are strong assets;
  • Certification in Implementing SAFe (SAFe Practice Consultants) is a strong asset.
