Job Description
- Req#: 5646
- Organize and facilitate all aspects of the Scrum framework, including sprint planning sessions, daily scrums, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Facilitate defining acceptance criteria, acceptance tests and approval of user stories.
- Identify and help remove impediments to enable success of the Agile team(s).
- Proactively manage risks and issues providing appropriate escalation to the necessary levels.
- Conduct periodic review meetings and continuously reflect on how to improve work flow to deliver more value to customer.
- Distribute appropriate and timely written communication with respective management and customers throughout the life of the Sprint(s), including metric based KPI reporting.
- Define and evaluate team-level metrics and support the Agile Team to monitor performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
- Maintain an expert understanding of the latest Agile principles and methods in order to provide coaching to the Agile teams and the surrounding organization.
- Formal education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis or a related discipline.
- Two – four years of experience as an Agile team member.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Experience as a Scrum Master or leading a Scrum team a definite asset.
- Agile Project Management Certification (PMI ACP) is an asset.
- Education in leadership is an asset.
- Working knowledge of conflict management techniques with good conflict resolutions skills.
- Ability to listen, analyze, influence, negotiate and use judgment to solve complex issues in order to accomplish project goals.

Overview
As the Scrum Master you will responsible for leading cross-functional teams and following the Scrum framework as a servant leader. You will coach, motivate and remove barriers for the team while acting as the front-line contact with the Product Manager and functional managers on product related issues, responding to concerns and providing formal status reports.
