Description/Qualifications
Student Employees for the Student Disability Access Center (SDAC) will support the general operations of SDAC, including front-line support for appointments, walk-ins, and exam proctoring. Student Employees work closely with the SDAC Assistant Directors, Exam Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities include:
• General clerical duties, such as answering phones, mail, filing, greeting walk-ins, and checking in students for appointments.
• Scanning supporting documentation to student files.
• Assisting with the E-text and Captioning programs.
• Exam proctoring for students who receive disability-related accommodations for exams. This includes checking in/out students, and appropriately returning the exam to the instructor upon completion.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Student employees will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement upon beginning their assignment with SDAC.

• Candidates must be dependable, friendly, and have the ability to work with a diverse population of students.
• Candidates must have great attention to detail, and ability to both be self-motivated and follow directions when needed.
• Candidates must have great customer service skills.
• Candidates must adhere to strict confidentiality requirements of position.
• Candidates must attend training before beginning work at SDAC.
• Preference for work-study eligible students, in their first or second year of study at the University.
Hiring for: Summer hours: 8am-4:30pm, Fall and Spring hours: Monday – Thursday 8am-9pm and Friday: 8am-5pm with the option to work on projects remotely outside of this time as needed.
