Job summary
Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) within Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) at Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle (CIC).
We are looking to appoint (up to 3 Full Time) dynamic and forward-thinking Qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)s with a special interest in Same Day Emergency Care to support the current Acute Medicine ACP, nursing and medical team.
The successful candidate will work as part of an established multi-disciplinary team. This is an opportunity to join an organisation in which Clinicians are at the forefront of service management, patient care and transformational projects.

Main duties of the job
Medical SDEC provides same day emergency care. This means that patients are assessed, diagnosed, treated and able to go home the same day without having to stay in hospital overnight.
Medical SDEC is a developing service within a newly formed Urgent & Emergency Care Collaborative. The Service at CIC has recently extended opening hours to cover weekends and is continuing to look at service development and transformational opportunities.
As an ACP, your main duty would be to work with the medical team to provide a high standard of care while following local guidelines and policies.
