Plus, experiences you’ll only find at Sky. Job Description Core Responsibilities : Be driven and vocal to promote testing at all steps of the development cycle to ensure quality. Interpret business requirements to form technical actions to deliver high quality, customer focused testing solutions. Assist the squads with all quality assurance activities including requirements analysis, exploratory testing and test automation Excellent scripting, design, analysis, and reporting skills Undergo detailed result's analysis including application monitoring, third party application etc Provide client team support, participate in investigating incidents, and release activities - Strong scripting (Python etc) Hands on experience with network\cmd tools Proactively contribute to the evolution of automation engineering Have the willingness to continuously develop by learning new skills and technologies Great analytical skills and the QA mindset to ask the right questions Be creative and action-oriented Ensure test best practice, continual improvements and appropriate standards are adhered to Employees at all levels are expected to: Knowledge and experience of testing containerised, cloud-hosted(AWS, Cloud and Micro Services )/on-prem back-end systems with variety of protocols (DNS, LDAP, Diameter, Rest API, Radius, NTP) (at least one) • Experience in testing elements that comprises from running within a CD pipeline • Strong experience in Automating frontend and backend API testing • Experience of working within an Agile team • Strong knowledge in Linux • Openstack knowledge. • Creating and maintaining the test automation framework and identifying tests to be automated using BDD • Experience in building a test automation framework from scratch. • Testing a variety of protocols and services beyond just http • Testing a large-scale application preferably network based • Automating tasks using tools such as Jenkins & scripting languages like Scala/Python/Shell • Wireshark \ PCAP • Splunk \ Grafana \ ELK • Knowledge of Big IP, F5, Loadbalancing • Experience of testing software in an agile methodology along with CI/CD using build tools like Jenkins, GitHub • AWS, Cloud and Micro Services • Good communicator who can comfortably share test findings at all levels • Experienced performance engineers who can demonstrate deep technical skills and understanding Disclaimer: This information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role.
