      Position: Seasonal Artist Services Assistant

      Department: Programming

      Role Overview: This temporary position has a strong focus on hospitality, backstage support and artist services for Lincoln Center’s Summer Festival. The Seasonal Artist Services Assistant's primary responsibility is to support the Artist Services Associate and Programming Manager to uphold Lincoln Center’s hospitality standards while building a welcoming and inclusive backstage culture. This position is ideal for anyone looking to gain hands-on experience with Artistic Producing in a Festival setting.

      What you’ll get to do here:

      • Meet and greet artists and company members on day of arrival.
      • Prepare and set-up Green Rooms and Dressing Rooms as needed.
      • Serve as a resource for Lincoln Center’s artists backstage for any off-stage support they may need
      • Arrange artists’ hospitality according to Festival standards and/or the contracted needs of the artists
      • Organize meals and beverages for rehearsals and performances
      • Create, update & distribute artist backstage passes
      • Keep track of expenses and work with team in credit cards reconciliation.
      • Support the Artist Services Manager in troubleshooting any day-of needs including running errands, managing laundry, equipment pick-ups, etc.
      • Place catering and hospitality orders as needed
      • Support Programming Manager in updating hospitality inventory and organizing supplies.
      • Coordinate and manage list of guest names for complimentary and VIP performance tickets for artists and staff.
      • Represent Lincoln Center onsite as a welcoming face of the Programming Department

      Qualifications:

      • 1-2 years of experience working live performance events with a keen interest in working with artists. Background in Company Management or Stage Management ideal, but not required.
      • Ability to, and willingness to work a robust Festival schedule outdoors during summer months.
      • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, results driven department/organization
      • Ability to self-direct.
      • Comfort with moving and transporting road cases and hospitality boxes
      • A passion for the performing arts and equitable work practices.
