  Position: Seasonal Driver Helper (Courtenay/Campbell River)

  Schedule: 4 X 10 | Floater | 3:45am Start Time

  Wage: $23.41

  Position Overview

  This position rides with the Delivery Service Representative on established routes to ensure accurate, on-time delivery for GFS customers within standard operating procedures. This is a seasonal position to assist with the summer volumes. This is a seasonal role from June - September helping out the Driver out of Campbell River and Courtenay.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  Responsibilities include correctly offloading product to customer location, assisting the Delivery Service Representatives with product delivery and other duties as assigned. Successful candidates will be working with a posted driver based out of Campbell River and Courtenay.

  Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift, load, push, pull and carry items up to 60 lbs

  • Ability to work independently as well as assist team members when necessary

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Safe operation of all equipment

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Professional demeanor and customer service focus

  • Ability to excel in a fast paced, physically demanding position

  • Be a team player and model the GFS Cornerstone Values

  • Consistent on-time attendance

  • Availability for weekends.
