Responsibilities ****Seasonal Employment**** A Day in the Life: To lead a team of Lifeguards, and ensure a professional and safe environment that meets the needs State Farm Park pool patrons. Salary: $19.00 Per Hour Responsibilities: Ensure the safety of all customers, while they are on the pool deck or in the water using proactive and reactive safety measures as trained. Demonstrate confidence and proficiency in the water. Lifeguard Supervisors and Lifeguards: Required to attend and pass all Lifeguard Certification training physical and written test. Comfortable performing in-water skills at varying levels of depth (up to 15ft). Required to maintain rescue ready skills by attending four hours of monthly training during employment. Facilitate Lifeguard Certification Training and in-service training four hours of monthly training during employment. Handle physical part of the job (outside all day in the heat). Adheres to established State Farm and Lifeguard vendor policies and procedures. Ability to work in a team environment. Answer questions from customers about the use of the pool and pool policies. Required to wear the uniform provided by State Farm. Communicate with your State Farm supervisor on any schedule changes and hours worked. Create and maintain Lifeguard shift and rotation schedules to ensure required coverage of all pool areas. Complete and submit any complaint or incident reporting. Participates in audits. This list may not include all tasks, or duties that may be expected to be perform and may result in additional duties being assigned. General Information: State Farm Park Lifeguard Supervisors work up to 30-40 hours per week. Hours will include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
