      Currently, we are hiring for Seasonal General Production Associates for 2024. New hires will have the opportunity to work from February to end of April 2024.

      General Information:

      • Location: Toronto, Major intersection - Lansdowne & Bloor
      • Shift: All 5 shifts (Day: 7am to 3pm; Afternoon: 3pm to 11pm; Night: 11pm to 7am; 12hr Day: 7am to 7pm; 12hr Night: 7pm to 7am)
      • Job Type: Contract, Casual, Seasonal
      • Flexibility: Must be flexible to work any shift, anytime
      • Salary: $18.00 per hour
      • Expected start date: February 19th, 2024

      Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:

      • To perform general production jobs that may involve repetitive bending, pushing, twisting, pulling, lifting and machine operation
      • To perform all duties in a safe manner; comply with safety, environmental, and quality policies, accident prevention and compliance programs.
      • Flexibility to work varied shifts; overtime may be required including weekend
      • Adherence to plant quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices
      • To seek opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives

      Some of the job requirements:

      • High school degree or equivalent required and will be verified if chosen as the successful candidate.
      • Note: Credentials obtained outside of Canada require an evaluation to determine the Canadian educational equivalence. This evaluation must support the educational requirements for the position, as a condition of employment.
      • 1 to 3 years of Manufacturing Experience
      • Computer Knowledge
      • Able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job
      • Be mechanically inclined
      • Ability to perform basic mathematics
      • Ability to work in the fast pace environment
      • Self-motivated, safety and quality conscious; requiring minimal supervision.

      • Actively participate in NCE activities (problem solving teams, training, SHO meetings, to name a few)
      • Work according to ISO 14001 Environment and OHSAS 18001 Safety requirements

      • Consistently provide ideas, opinions, or information in an articulate, professional way
      • Willingness and ability to adjust to changing conditions or priorities
      • Take the initiative to identify and act on problems and lead by example.
