      Your role as a Seasonal Photographer:

      You will contribute photography throughout the 2024 season. The Seasonal Photographer will work closely with Padres’ photographer, designers, and videographers to fulfill visual needs for various marketing initiatives.

      All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

      • Exemplifying our Padres Core Values/Mission Statement: Communication and Collaboration, Progress and Innovation, Accountability and Integrity, and Effort and Results, through building meaningful connections with a diverse fan base and serving as impactful leaders in the San Diego community
      • Assist with coverage of daily gameday needs, including shooting pregame and in-game ceremonies, fan features, and game action
      • Capture non-game day events and activities
      • Edit, caption, keyword, and properly archive and organize all images and files
      • Assist Padres’ team photographer with photo shoots and other daily needs
      • Represents the Club in a positive and professional manner at all times
      • Other duties as assigned

      Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most:

      • Must be able to commit from the beginning of the 2024 season through the end of potential post-season (end of March through possibly November)
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce turnaround edits in real-time
      • Having previous experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and Photo Mechanic
      • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and effectively work well with others in a collaborative, respectful manner
      • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with capacity to handle high volumes of detailed work, multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines
      • Maintain professional demeanor with a high degree of discretion, integrity, and accountability
      • Maintain consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance

      You will be required to meet the following:

      • Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment
      • Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in photography
      • Bachelor’s Degree or education equivalent is preferred
      • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, Padres Home/Road games, special events and extended hours as needed
      • Able to travel as needed
      • Minimum physical requirements: able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the ballpark for prolonged periods of time during games and events; able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
      • As a condition of employment, you must successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check

      Salary and additional compensation:

      Per the California pay transparency law, the base hourly pay range for this position is $19.43 to $21.00. Part time, non-union employees are subject to the San Diego Living Wage Ordinance and rates will increase accordingly.
