POSITION SUMMARY
This position is under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President for Facilities & Auxiliary Operations. The C.A. works as part of a team in helping coordinate and manage the various activities, logistics, and responsibilities of summer camps and conferences including customer utilization of residence hall housing, campus facilities, and other campus resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer service responsibilities.
· Represent Manchester University and Conference Services with the highest level of integrity, morals, professionalism and manners (this includes no personal fraternization with guests).
· Enforce University rules and policies.
· Provide front-line customer service daily; greet all customers in a helpful and friendly manner, respond to conference groups needs with sensitivity and a positive attitude.
· Escort camp customers to various locations as part of their initial orientation and stay with customers as needed.
· Meet with Summer Conferences team daily to go over assigned responsibilities.
· Provide set-up support as needed on campus.
· Assist in daily walk through of conference facilities to assess conditions.
· Take initiative to provide solutions to customer service needs.
· Create and distribute customer service information.
· Other duties as assigned.
