!*!Role: Mercedes-Benz seat development engineer
Responsibilities:
- Execute seat development with supplier to secure the milestones in the project.
- Prepare and monitor timeline for Seat development activities with supplier.
- Collaboration with different cross-functional teams (Design, Purchasing, Quality, Production, Controlling) to meet quality,
assembly & functional requirements.
- Close coordination with supplier for functional development and product maturity.
- Execution of Engineering Change requests as per project requirements.
Mandatory skills & experience:
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in automotive complete seat design and development.
- Product knowledge of automotive seating system including Foam, Plastic, Structure, Seat covers, Comfort Elements,
etc.
- Experience in full product lifecycle management spanning from concept generation, design & development, product
validation (as per global regulation), product launch execution to post-production support.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong practitioner of basic engineering processes, analytical and problem-solving skills and with capability of outofthebox
thinking.
- Able to work as an independent player with min. guidance.
- Working Experience in UG NX
Additional skills & experience:
- German language
- International work experience
- Development experience in Mercedes-Benz or similar products
