      The role of a Second Chef at Barchester Healthcare is to assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well-balanced menus for the residents in their care home.       Main duties of the job

      As a Second Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, assisting with menu development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, wholesome dishes. You will work within a budget, complete regular audits, and manage stock control. Additionally, you will be required to lead and motivate a team, creating a warm, efficient, and fun environment for the residents and staff.
