PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT: The successful candidate will be required to complete fingerprinting through an approved fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

POSITION SUMMARY: Foster a welcoming atmosphere in the Counseling Department for students, staff and parents. Perform a variety of complex clerical and statistical record keeping duties related to the enrollment, graduation or withdrawal of middle/high school students, including those in special programs, according to established policies and procedures. Receives, evaluates, archives and maintains records, and assists in monitoring compliance with graduation requirements. Understands and works effectively with people of differing cultures and backgrounds.

Support the enrollment, scheduling and withdrawal process for students, including contact with other schools and their families.
Maintain accurate permanent student records, including capstone projects, certifications and test scores, by recording and filing student’s results.
Prepare and send requested information (Ex: transcripts, NCAA forms) to approved recipients (Ex: colleges, governmental agencies).
Manage grades at the end of quarters/semesters through the district’s student information system, Infinite Campus. This includes performing tasks such as ensuring accuracy of transcripts, supporting student recognition activities and recording grades for outside classes.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: High School Diploma/GED required.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years job related experience. Experience in an educational environment and managing physical and digital records preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess effective communication skills, be detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multitask. Work with minimal supervision, exhibit strong problem solving skills and be a team player. Working knowledge of Google Apps, as well as general office equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent sitting, bending, reaching; stooping, squatting. Occasional lifting five (5) to twenty five (25) pounds.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES: Student aides, work study/internships, student tutors and other students completing online coursework or other assignments in the Career and Counseling Center.
