- Participate in Trader daily activities, supporting client accounts, and identify opportunity for researching and correcting trade, risk and compliance issues within Wells Fargo Securities
- Collaborate and consult with peers, traders, risk, compliance, and manager, including internal and external customers
- Assist senior traders in executing and managing securities lending transactions.
- Work closely with middle office and settlements teams to ensure timely and accurate trade settlements.
- Assist in evaluating market opportunities and identifying potential borrowers and lenders.
- Analyze and interpret market data to support trading decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- 2+ years of Securities Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- A BS/BA degree or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in securities lending/prime brokerage middle office.
- Knowledge of financial products and securities lending strategies
- Strong understanding of securities lending operations and market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using trading platforms and systems.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with risk management techniques in securities lending.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
- Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
