      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Research Associate...


      In this role, you will:

      • Debt origination/syndication support to Capital Markets team in EMEA & US markets across situations i.e. Debt restructuring, refinancing, Bond syndication, Leveraged & Acquisition financing
      • Monitoring & tracking financial performance, borrowers business model/future strategy, security cover, industry developments and impact of macro-economic events on the overall market for the portfolio of covered client set across industries
      • Preparing pitch books, request for proposals (RFP), information memorandum, term-sheets, investor presentation, pricing of bonds, external legal documentation and sales memo for transaction origination and road shows
      • Assist with structuring of debt transaction in terms of instrument, pricing, tenor, currency, target investors based on comparable transactions and existing market conditions with the ultimate goal of balancing clients’ needs with the lender and investor requirements
      • Working closely with DCM desk, including cross functional teams such as Corporate Finance, Syndicate & ESG desk, and developing key relationships with these teams
      • Understanding of various debt products with specific focus on Hybrid and Liability management
      • Effectively communicate with key stakeholders in the US/EMEA
      • Responsibilities include training and guiding junior and new analysts, resolving their project related queries and performing quality check on client deliverables
      • May act as subject matter expert and sounding board for junior resources in the team


      Required Qualifications, US:

      • 2+ years of Securities Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


      Required Qualifications, International:

      • Outstanding academic qualifications – MBA / Masters in Finance from a premier educational institution
      • Relevant prior 2-5 years of experience
      • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial concepts
      • Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Python, VBA etc. would be an added advantage


      Desired Qualifications:

      • Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office Applications – Power Point and Excel
      • Knowledge of database tools – Factset, Thomson one, Capital IQ, Factiva, LevFin Insights, LCD News and Bloomberg
      • Impeccable communication and interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to interact with senior professionals and key stakeholders
      • Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
      • Attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality of deliverables
      • Ability to provide innovative ideas to efficiently execute the tasks
      • Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to firm's goals & mission
