Join our team as a Security Analyst I for the Winter 2025 term. In this role, you’ll make a difference while building the skills and experience that will propel your career forward.

      We are looking for interns in 5 of our specialized security teams: Threat intelligence, Threat Hunting, Governance, Risk, and Compliance, Cloud Security, and Data protection. Depending on your team assignment, here’s what you’ll do here:

      • Analyzes events logs with available tools and investigates and/or escalates as required potential or real security incidents.

      • Develop Hunting Queries based on CTI (Cyber Threat Intelligence) inputs

      • Review & proactively capture cyber activities in the IFC environment based on any suspicious activity.

      • Work closely with the Incident Response team during investigations and increase automation (automated detection and response)

      • Be the first point of contact to handle the team’s intake requests for cybersecurity risk and compliance related activities

      • Support and maintain the risk register, derogations, and third-party risk assessment-related activities

      • Ensures that protection obtained by security systems is optimal by making sure dynamic rules (for example, virus signatures) are done timely and protection is complete.

      • Executes periodical review procedures for IT security procedures by producing relevant reports and by following up with accountable stakeholders.

      What you bring to the table:

      • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity

      • Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter 2025 Term (January to April)

      • Must be returning to school in Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 following your internship

      • Past internship experience in security is considered an asset

      • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and/or French preferred).

      • Ability and desire to learn/adapt quickly to a changing environment

      • Knowledge in security concepts such as, GRC (governance, risk, and compliance), risk assessments, mitre attacks, vulnerability, threat risk assessment, etc.

      • Experience in Python, PowerShell Scripting, AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or OCI is considered an asset

      • Experience with control testing or reviewing operating systems and databases, cloud technology/tools, and/or incident response is considered an asset

      • Experience using Microsoft Security Suite, CrowdStrike, and/or Microsoft Visio is considered an asset
