What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor security events and alerts from SIEM and other security tools
- Conduct Level 1 triage of incoming alerts to assess risk and damage
- Maintain an assigned ticket queue for incident management
- Serve as a liaison during security incidents, coordinating resources and activities
- Support clients in deploying security solutions and managing the health of EDR solutions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or current enrollment in a competitive college program
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, information technology (IT), or related fields
- Willingness to learn and adapt to fast-paced environments
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, firewalls, DNS, VPN, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools like Wireshark, VirusTotal, Nessus, or Nmap
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Participation in cybersecurity clubs, Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, or related programs
- Previous internship experience in IT or cybersecurity
