- Excellent analytical skills within a similar environment
- Degree or equivalent experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security & Emergency Planner to join the Security and Emergency Arrangements Department in Vulcan. You will support the Security Operations Manager with the administration and planning of Security and EA exercises at Vulcan.We’re a leader in propulsion system design and development for the Royal Navy’s nuclear submarine fleet and the sole provider and technical authority.

Rolls-Royce has operated and managed the Vulcan Naval Reactor Test Establishment in Caithness Scotland for the last 50 years on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. Although the operational plant ceased operation some years ago their remains a significant and challenging programme of nuclear fuel handling, inspection and management alongside operating a nuclear authorised site.
The Vulcan Programme is currently made up of a portfolio of complex commercial contracts delivering key outputs to our on-site MoD Head of Establishment customer. What’s you’ll be doing:
You will be r esponsible for work of a technical and specialist nature using established procedures, including but not exclusively modifying and adapting Vulcan Standing Orders, Site Security Instructions, exercise specific story boards including aims and objectives and any other role related processes in conjunction with the SOM ;

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
