Background & Purpose of the Job
This role will report to the North America Security Manager and be a part of the Unilever Americas Security Team. Globally, Unilever Security reports into Unilever Business Operations.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
The S ecurity Coordinator, working with the North America Security Manager, drives the Unilever security agenda in Logistics, Transportation, and related Procurement teams, by working closely with these functions. The incumbent implements our global security standards by influencing and collaborating with our in-house logistics teams and our third-party logistics providers. The Security Coordinator will also ensure that Unilever security standards are in place in all our logistics and manned guarding contracts, guaranteeing that Service Level Agreements are in place and being honored. Should a cargo theft incident occur, the security coordinator will promptly and thoroughly investigate the incident at the site and develop and implement a corrective action plan, so the ability to think and act quickly in emergency situations is very important.
What You’ll Need To Succeed:Five years’ experience in logistics with a major, North America FMCG company.
Four-year university degree, or equivalent, relevant experience.
Experience in corporate security and investigations.
Must be able to work with various functions within Unilever, that include, Logistics, Transportation, Procurement, and Legal, and with law enforcement agencies.
Must be able to travel on short notice on commercial aircraft. Length of stay at a site could be for up to one week at a time. Weekend stays are not required.
Valid driver’s license;
Excellent communication skills in the English language, both written and verbal;
Previous experience in Stakeholder management and influencing, adaptability to arising business needs and strong personal responsibility.
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with Power BI.
Oral and written fluency in the Spanish language.
Knowledge and experience with Four Kites.
Procurement experience
CPP or APP (ASIS certifications)
Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
