Report to work on time and complete all assigned shifts, including overtime when required.
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, following established procedures.
Write clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
Maintain a professional, confident demeanor at all times.
Assist with crowd control and ensure orderly conduct during events.
Operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras and radios.
Provide directions and assistance to visitors and staff as needed.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be 18 years of age
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Previous experience in a security role.
Knowledge of security and safety guidelines, and of laws and regulations that affect security policies, procedures, rules, and operations.
CLEET certification within six months of hire
Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Perform duties in various weather conditions.
Climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl to access different parts of the facility .
Visual acuity -- due to the possibility of spending long periods of time viewing security monitors
Indoor and outdoor environments with varying noise levels.
May be exposed to stressful or emergency situations.
Position Summary
The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, its staff, patrons, and property. This role involves monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and maintaining a professional presence at all times.

• Operate a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office.
