Conduct regular patrols of campus grounds, buildings, and parking lots to ensure safety and security

Monitor and control access points, including building entrances and exits

Respond professionally to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with campus administration and local law enforcement when necessary

Identify and address potential safety hazards or suspicious activities
-
Document and report security-related incidents according to established protocols

Exercise sound judgment in handling various situations while following supervisor directives

Maintain effective communication with students, staff, and visitors
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal abilities

Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Previous security, law enforcement, or related experience preferred

Must pass a background check (if applicable)

Physical ability to patrol campus grounds and respond to incidents

Competitive hiring range $15.29-18.35 hourly rate

Security Guard Position - Campus Safety
Location: Albuquerque Campus
Schedule: Part-time, Monday - Thursday, 3 pm - 7 pm, Friday 7 am - 5 pm (25 hours/week)
