  Job Description

  Job Type: Full Time

  Job Title: Security Guard (Barrie)

  Schedule: 1830-0630 Continental

  Salary: $19.94/hr

  Overview:

  The ideal candidate has excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills. It is expected that the guard can function in a fast pace environment. If you have experience as a security guard and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

  Requirement:

  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 40 kilograms.

  Responsibilities:

  • CCTV and Live monitoring expereince preferred
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.
  • Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Coordinating with other Supervisor/ Manager to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
  • Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others
  • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
