  Join Holiday Inn Bowling Green as a Security Guard and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff!

  In this dynamic position, you will actively patrol the premises, monitor surveillance equipment, and manage access points to maintain a safe environment.

  Collaborating closely with the hotel management and the maintenance team, you will address security concerns promptly and effectively. Your keen attention to detail and proactive approach contribute significantly to upholding our hotel's reputation for safety and comfort.

  Responsibilities

  • You shall patrol the premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence.
  • We expect you to monitor surveillance cameras to identify disturbances or suspicious activity and report them promptly.
  • You will check identification of individuals entering restricted areas to ensure only authorized personnel have access.
  • You shall respond swiftly to alarms by investigating any unusual occurrences following established protocols.
  • We expect you to provide assistance during emergencies, offering guidance and support until professional help arrives.
  • You will collaborate with management to devise and implement effective safety and security policies.
  • You shall conduct thorough inspections of buildings and equipment to detect potential hazards or signs of vandalism.
  • We expect you to document all incidents accurately in detailed reports for future reference and legal compliance.

  Requirements

  • You must possess the ability to assess situations quickly and effectively to determine the best course of action in maintaining safety.
  • We expect you to have strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests, staff, and emergency services when necessary.
  • You should be adept at monitoring surveillance equipment and conducting regular patrols to ensure all areas are secure.
  • Your role requires you to respond promptly and calmly to any security breaches or emergencies within the hotel premises.
  • We need you to work collaboratively with other team members to develop and implement effective security measures and protocols.
  • You should demonstrate a firm yet approachable demeanor when enforcing property rules and addressing violations.
  • Your capability to manage access control efficiently, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter restricted areas, is essential.
  • We require you to maintain accurate records and reports of incidents, including observations, interventions, and outcomes.
