Job summary
The provision of a high quality, efficient customer orientated security service and compliance with the Trust Patient Confidentiality Policy.
The job role requires that the post holder will either undertake the role of security guard during their shift.

Main duties of the job
The Security department at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital provide a variety of services to patients and departments, including maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff, the provision of a high quality, efficient customer orientated Security service and compliance with the Trust Patient Confidentiality Policy.
The post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

To provide a comprehensive Security service to all Wards andDepartments on site to be flexible in approach to work and undertake other duties that are assigned under the role. To provide a security service to the hospital and grounds, protecting people and property and detecting and preventing crime. To manage the Trusts car parks, dealing with illegally parked vehicles and ensuring safe access and egress from site.
This post is required to work on a rolling Rota working 12 hour shifts with a 1 hour un-paid break.
