Job Description

- Providing exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients, tenants, and patrons
- Writing clear and detailed reports including incident, first aid, and daily reports
- Watching for and report irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations and contact emergency responders
- Providing first aid and medical response
- Performing regular foot patrols to ensure personnel, building and equipment security
- Utilizing two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
- Exercising crowd control and evicting trespassers
- Granting or denying access to the facility based on established procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid BC Security License
- Strong observational skills
- Ability to make immediate decisions, while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision
- Ability to walk up to 20km per shift, up and down stairs, or over uneven ground, indoors and outdoors
- Exceptional professional deportment
- Legal ability to work in Canada

Paladin Security is seeking experienced Security Officers for a high rise office tower in downtown Vancouver. Candidates must be available for overnight shifts , though schedules may vary so open availability is preferred.
