- Provide excellent customer service to everyone on the property
- Exercise powers of arrest in accordance with locals laws and company procedures
- Work closely with law enforcement (gain experience for a future career in Emergency Services!)
- Assist visitors, guests and the retail employees with respect to safety, requests for directions, escorts, package transportation, lost vehicles, etc.
- Apply property rules and regulations in a fair and responsible manner
- Write daily and incident reports
- Intervene during medical emergencies and provide first aid
- Be prepared to respond to situations of crime, urgency and disturbance occurring at the mall
- Possession of a valid BC Security Guard Licence
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- Availability to work days/afternoon/graveyard shifts
- Strong customer service skills
