      Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional in Mississauga, ON.

      Title: Security Professional

      Type: Full Time

      Location : Mississauga, ON

      Payrate: $19.55 /hour

      Schedule: Sun- 2100-0900, Mon 2200-1000, Fri 1000-1800, Sat 0800-2000

      Shift: Various

      Overview:

      Allied Universal is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operations Support Officer (OSO) – Security Professional to join our team in Mississauga, ON. This position plays a vital role in managing the security access badge system for business units, contractors, and vendors across multiple Canadian sites. The OSO ensures all requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner, maintains badge inventory, and provides outstanding service while working in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Administer and process a high volume of physical security access badge requests, including provisioning new badges, replacements, and updates for contractors, vendors, and staff.

      • Ensure badge requests are completed within 48 hours of initial submission.

      • Maintain meticulous records and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and promptly.

      • Manage and monitor inventory of access badges, card printers, and supplies.

      • Use access control systems (e.g., CCURE 9000, Honeywell) to manage and maintain security access rights.

      • Respond to calls and inquiries regarding access issues, providing support and escalating matters as necessary.

      • Communicate effectively with internal departments, site management, and security teams to resolve access-related concerns.

      • Remain flexible to adapt to changing work priorities and operational demands.

      • Handle security-related incidents and emergencies with composure and professionalism.

      • Participate fully as a supportive and proactive member of the operations support team.

      Requirements:

      • High school diploma or GED; equivalent work experience will be considered.

      • 1–2 years of experience in a corporate office or similar environment.

      • Must be eligible to work in Canada and available for 40 hours per week.

      • Must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License.

      • First Aid/CPR Certification is required.

      • Proficiency with security and access control systems (e.g., CCURE 9000, Honeywell) is strongly preferred

      • Prioritize and manage own workflow to ensure quality and efficiency (i.e. meet deadlines; be flexible in adjusting to changing work priorities).
      • Efficiently manage expectations/concerns through strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
      • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
      • Participate fully as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment.
      • Be an effective team player and flexible in adjusting to changing work priorities.
