  Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.

  Position Title: Security GuardLocation: Ottawa, OntarioCompensation: $19.99 per hourShift Type: Morning, Afternoon & eveningShift Schedule: Monday, Tuesday Wednesday,Thursday , Friday ,Saturday and SundayWorking Hours: 8:00am-20:00pm & 20:00pm-8:00am

  **Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years continuously**

  Position Overview:Allied Universal, a global leader in security services, is currently seeking a highly skilled Security Professional to oversee security operations across in the Ottawa area. This position requires a dedicated security professional with a strong commitment to safety, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to maintain a calm, effective response in high-pressure situations. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, flexible, and ready to take on the responsibility of ensuring the security of our client site.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine security patrols and perform site inspections to ensure adherence to security protocols and operational standards

  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies, exercising professionalism and sound judgment in all situations

  • Collaborate with team members and shift leads to ensure seamless transition between shifts and consistent coverage

  • Manage and oversee shift schedules to guarantee adequate security staffing for both day and overnight shifts

  • Operate and manage security technology and communication systems as per client-specific requirements

  Qualifications:

  • Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years continuously (Client requires a reliability check)

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Computer skils
  • CCTV Camera monitoring experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is considered an asset

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License is mandatory

  • Demonstrated ability to work with technology and wireless communication systems specific to client sites

  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week as required

  • First Aid and CPR certification is required

  • Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and standing or walking for extended periods

  • Physically capable of occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms, as well as climbing stairs
