      Job Description

      Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guard in Regina, Saskatchewan.

      Job Title: Security Guard - Floater

      Job Location: Regina, Saskatchewan

      Job Type: Part-Time

      Pay Rate: $17.52 per hour

      Shifts: Full Availability Required - 7 am to 3 pm, 3 pm to 11 pm, 11 pm to 7 am

      Overview :

      Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Regina, Saskatchewan.

      Requirement :

      • Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
      • Experience with report writing and note-taking.
      • Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
      • Valid security guard certificate.
      • Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 20 hours per week.
      • First Aid and CPR
      • Must be at least 18 years old.
      • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
      • Must have their own vehicle and the driver's license.

      Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

      • Access control for the facility/area
      • Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
      • Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
      • Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
      • Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
      • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
      • Vehicle Gate and Console duties
