      The Role: Security Logistics Coordinator

      As a Security Logistics Coordinator at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what’s possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. Your work will directly impact the future of technology and the sustainable growth of the Internet.

      In this role you are responsible for planning, ordering, and coordinating the installation of access control and CCTV systems. This role involves maintaining schedules for customer and internal system deployments, organizing meetings with other departments, and assisting with travel planning for security systems team members. Additionally, you will support the security management team with meeting planning and other administrative duties.

      What You’ll Do

      • Plan and schedule installations of access control and CCTV systems both internal and customer.
      • Order the necessary equipment and materials for installations.
      • Communicate with customers to coordinate installation dates and provide updates.
      • Maintain schedules for customer and internal system deployments.
      • Work with other departments to organize meetings, planning and implementation of requested systems.
      • Maintain accurate records of orders, installations, schedules, and travel arrangements.
      • Collaborate with the security systems team to ensure timely and efficient installations.
      • Address any logistical issues that may arise and provide solutions.
      • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
      • Assist with planning and booking travel arrangements for security systems team members.
      • Support the security management team with meeting planning and other administrative duties.
      • Build jobs for requested scope from sales team and/or construction and schedule proper technicians to perform installations.
      • Negotiate pricing and contracts with 3rd party suppliers, vendors and integrators to add cost savings to all jobs.

      What You'll Bring

      • Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
      • Strong communication and customer service skills.
      • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Proficiency in multitasking and managing multiple priorities
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
      • Experience with logistics software and scheduling tools.
      • Valid Driver’s License is required
      • High School Diploma/GED, required. Associate’s degree, preferred.
      • Must be able to read, speak, understand and write the English language fluently.
