      • Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
      • Annual Salary Pay: $80,000 to $90,000 in addition to a 10% bonus eligibility
      • Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Additional days and hours as needed to support the business needs.

      Summary

      The Security Manager will be responsible for the following: Management of security staff for the safety and protection of all Ryder personnel at the Greencastle, PA facility. Ensure that access control is maintained at all times. Develop security procedures to be adhered to by security staff. Ensure that equipment pertinent to the security operation is serviced and maintained and in operable condition. Purchase tools pertinent to the operation of the security department at the Greencastle, PA facility and ensure billing is correct


      Essential Functions

      • Implements security preventative measures to ensure the safety of employees, consultants, vendors, and visitors
      • Maintains contacts with various law enforcement agencies and professional organizations to remain current on activities in the community and the world posing potential threats
      • Represents Security Services in the Threat Response Team on crisis management and workplace violence to resolve issues and develop protocols
      • Successful Security Managers will be strong leaders with excellent communication skills


      Additional Responsibilities

      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      • Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts

      Qualifications

      • H.S. diploma/GED required

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred

      • Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required

      • Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports required

      • Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations. advanced required

      • Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements. advanced required
